Eddie Cochran

Ray Edward "Eddie" Cochran, född 3 oktober 1938 i Albert Lea, Minnesota, död 17 april 1960 i Chippenham, Wiltshire, Storbritannien, var en amerikansk rockmusiker.

Han föddes i Minnesota men växte upp i Bell Gardens, Kalifornien.

Cochran kom att bli en rock'n'roll-pionjär med sånger som Weekend, C'mon Everybody, My Way, Something Else, Twenty Flight Rock, och Summertime Blues. Av en händelse blev en av hans sista låtar Three Steps to Heaven, som han spelade in 8 januari 1960.

1987 kom Eddie med i Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, han är även med i Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
